I'm currently in Los Angeles working as design intern for Warner Bros., in their Worldwide TV Marketing department. I'm designing stuff for DC Universe's new shows (Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing), The Big Bang Theory, and other cool stuff I can't talk about.
I'm a senior at the University of Miami (UM), pursuing a double major in Motion Pictures Production (focus in cinematography) and Studio Art (focus in graphic design and advertising).
Most of my time in college was spent working on film sets (as cinematographer, gaffer, camera assistant or operator) or in my room, sketching designs for the different organizations I worked with, including the Toppel Career Center (where I was the graphic design intern for almost two years), the Department of Cinema and Interactive Media at UM, and the UM Student Government.
Born in Cartagena, Colombia, I always thought I’d be an architect. I liked LEGOs so I figured being an architect would be kind of similar, you know? As a native Spanish speaker, learning English through watching movies and TV has proven to be the most beneficial thing I have done in my life (yet?). Graphic Design and Cinematography are my passions. I'm proud to say since starting college I have managed to complete over 50 film projects and hundreds of designs, and I keep looking for ways to improve myself, my work, and my abilities.
To this day, I still like LEGOs.
